Video Ground Loop Isolator
The Genie Video Ground Loop Isolator is a passive device that can reduce Ground Loop Interference with composite video signals (Tearing).
It is used in situations where video signals are being transmitted between points with different ground potentials. Unbalanced power line loads typically cause differences in ground potentials. BNC male to BNC female with 150mm mini coax on both sides Passive no power required. Prevents video signal distortion caused by video ground loops Built in TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) for surge protection.

Technical Data:
Insertion Loss 0.5dB
Frequency Response 0-3dB at 10MHz
Input Resistance 75 ohms Output Resistance 75 ohms
Isolation Voltage 600VDC (Min)
Insulation Resistance 100M Ohms
Transient Voltage Suppressor 12V rms
Material ABS Black
(nb: for component video 3 of these will be required)
This device helps to eliminate picture tearing and erratic CCTV image behaviour.
Normally two Isolators are used, one at either end, but sometimes one is sufficient.
