This is a very handy Cow Calving Kit, ideal when there is no fixed-line or wireless ISP broadband available on the farm. This kit makes use of the O2 or 3Mobile 3G network to stream cow Calving images to your smart-phone or laptop, anywhere, anytime.

We understand that you may not have the time to program all of this advanced system to make the magic happen, so we can provide a service to program it all for you, then you just install this kit, it's very easy to do, no cutting cables and making complicated connections, it all just easily plugs together.

The Recorder
This kit comes with one camera, but it can easily take another three cameras, making it very easy to upgrade.
The supplied recorder is a 4 channel Avalon recorder, this recorder provides the remote streaming functionality.
The Camera
It doesn't matter whether you have lights on or off at night in your shed, this camera can see in the dark upto about 40 metres. It would be better to have lights on in the shed, as the picture would then be in colour, but the camera will automatically switch to black & white when it is dark.
Note that we don't supply the O2 modem or contract, that's up to you. Meteor, Vodafone and e-mobile are currently blocking live streaming. You must ensure that you have a resonable O2 or 3Mobile 3G signal before ordering.
For an extra fee we can program it all for you. We will program the PTZ camera to talk to the DVR web server and for the DVR to talk to the 3G router.
There are lots of different USB 3G dongles on the market, but you cannot use the Hi-Link USB dongles.
